Live in Gratitude for Happiness & Your Health

One of the best ways to achieve a sense of well-being is to acknowledge and express gratitude for what you have and for what you appreciate and enjoy. Research shows that appreciating the “little things” such as relishing a morning cup of coffee, enjoying a beautiful sunset, or sharing a meal with a friend, impacts our psychological and physical health. Expressing gratitude with a simple “thank you” or sending a heartfelt note, or a bouquet is also a way to nurture and build relationships. Expressing gratitude helps you focus on the positive, not the negative, and as such, it helps to reduce depression and lift your mood. So, for your health, rather than focusing on what you don’t have, give thanks for all you do.
