Dr. Lyn Rowbotham's tip for a healthy mind, body, spirit, and relationships

Feelings are not facts!

"It's important to remember that 'feelings are not facts,' when we find ourselves making assumptions based on any strong negative feelings we are having about something," states CURE'S Dr. Lyn Rowbotham, Ph.D. "Strong feelings are powerful, and it’s easy for our minds to 'gather evidence' to support those feelings. Separate the feelings from facts…know the difference. Support yourself with good self-care until those feelings can begin to pass and subside."
