Brain Food: How what you eat affects your brain and mood

Did you know what you eat directly affects the function of your brain and your mood?
Just like putting premium gas in your car helps your vehicle to run smoothly, eating quality foods containing lots of vitamins, minerals, and healing antioxidants is food for your brain, protecting it against the waste of free radicals produced when fewer quality foods (laden with refined sugars, processed foods, etc.) are ingested. For many years there was a disconnect with functioning, mood, and food. However, studies have shown that there are many consequences between what you eat, how you feel, and how that impacts your behavior and choices.
